The cronotime clock by Pio Manzu 1966 design

The Cronotime clock by Pio Manzu

It was 1966, and it was the year of the soccer World Cup in England.It was also the year when the  Cronotime clock designed by Pio Munzi first hit the retail market. For a while this distinctive designed clock went out of production, but now its back.

Pio Manzu was the young Italian car designer responsible for many automotive designs including the 1971 Fiat 127.He created many other designs for objects which are to be seen around today. Tragically he died in 1969. You can enjoy owning his Cronotime tubular clock design by Alessi since it started to be produced again in 2010.
