accent on retro is a great fan of the retro style pennychoo greetings cards featured here from time to time. Here’s just a reminder of the wide range of cards depicting the style and essence of those not so far-off days of yesteryear.
As pennychoo says:
“Soggy paper straws, warm squash, endless summers, daisy chains, scabby knees, crispy wasps… This range evokes the charm and innocence of the perfect childhood, for those who are just starting theirs, and those (like me) who just refuse to grow up. So there.”

Try something that bit different to send out this Christmas. Pennychoo is for you. Retro Christmas cards to admire.
The new designs for her retro seasonal cards reflect designer Sue Lee’s lifetime interest in things vintage, generally from the first half of the 20th-century.More specifically she takes inspiration for her designs, and the use of colour, from the 1940s and 1950s. Using the elements that attract her,she is inspired to use them in a new way. These delightful cards will please all who receive them.
